Eardwulf was king of Kent, reigning jointly with Æðelberht II.

Eardwulf is known from two charters, one of which is undated,{{cite web|url=http://www.anglo-saxons.net/hwaet/?do=seek&query=S+31|title=c. A.D. 748 x 762. Eardwulf, king of Kent, to Heaberht, abbot, and his familia in the minster at Reculver; grant of 1 sulung (aratrum) at Perhamstede in Higham Upshire, Kent. Latin.}} but identifies Eardwulf's father as Eadberht I (a patre meo Eadberhtuo); the other has a date that is incompatible with its witness list,{{cite web|url=http://www.anglo-saxons.net/hwaet/?do=seek&query=S+30|title=A.D. 762 for c. 748 x 760. Latin.}} as it is dated 762, but witnessed by Archbishop Cuðbert, who died in 760; it was also witnessed by King Æðelberht II (Aethilberchtus rex Cantie).
