Eckwersheim is a commune, in the Bas-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.[https://www.insee.fr/fr/metadonnees/geographie/commune/67119-eckwersheim INSEE commune file] It is around {{convert|11|km|abbr=on|sigfig=1}} north of Strasbourg.
On 14 November 2015 the commune was the location of a derailment during testing of a TGV train along the LGV Est high-speed rail line.
