Edwin Andrew Sparr (July 29, 1898 – May 19, 1974) was an American football player.{{Cite web|url=https://www.profootballarchives.com/players/s/spar01400.html|website=Pro Football Archives|title=Ed Sparr Stats}}

Sparr was born in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin.{{Cite web|url=https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SparEd20.htm|title = Ed Sparr Stats| website=Pro-Football-Reference.com }} He attended Wausau High School in Wausau, Wisconsin, where he was the team captain in football in 1918.{{Cite news|url=https://www.newspapers.com/article/wausau-daily-herald/150661251/|newspaper=Wausau Daily Herald|via=Newspapers.com|date=September 5, 1928|page=12|title=Untitled}} {{Open access}} He played tackle at Carroll College for four years and was described as the team's "outstanding grid star".{{Cite news|url=https://www.newspapers.com/article/herald-times-reporter/150661130/|newspaper=Herald-Times-Reporter|via=Newspapers.com|date=September 1, 1928|page=6|title=Sparr Chosen Coach Of New Football Team}} {{Open access}} He was chosen all-state three years and graduated following the 1921 season. Afterwards, he served as a teacher at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 1926, he joined the Racine Tornadoes of the National Football League (NFL) and appeared in two NFL games for the team, starting one.{{Cite web|url=https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SparEd20.htm|website=Pro-Football-Reference.com|title=Ed Sparr Stats}} He became the head coach of a professional team in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, in 1928.
