Early life and education

Joseph was born in 1945, the son of a film producer Edward Joseph and was educated at Abingdon School from 1957 until 1962.{{cite web|url=https://www.abingdon.org.uk/uploads/school/files/abingdonian/1963_January_V012_N007.pdf#page=52|title=OA Notes|publisher=The Abingdonian}}

Career

Joseph began work with Baker and Todman Accountants before joining the film industry in 1967 and becoming a sound editor in 1981.{{cite web|url=http://www.amps.net/retired-members/|title=Retired Members|publisher=The Association of Motion Picture Sound}}

Awards

In 1982, Joseph won the BAFTA award for Best Sound, for Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'.
