Eichmann Before Jerusalem: The Unexamined Life of a Mass Murderer ({{langx|de|Eichmann vor Jerusalem – Das unbehelligte Leben eines Massenmörders}}) is a book by Bettina Stangneth originally published in German in 2011. An edition in English appeared in 2014.{{cite news|last=Frum|first=David|url=https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2014/10/the-lies-adolf-eichmann-told/381222/|title=The Lies of Adolf Eichmann|journal=The Atlantic|date=8 October 2014|access-date=9 July 2022}}

The work challenges Hannah Arendt's portrayal of Adolf Eichmann in Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil as an unintelligent and thoughtless bureaucrat. Stangneth shows that Eichmann's actions were the results of intentional, well-thought-out decisions of a man who strongly subscribed to Nazi ideology and who took pride in his actions.{{cite news |last=Aschheim |first=Steven |date=September 4, 2014 |title='Eichmann Before Jerusalem,' by Bettina Stangneth |newspaper=The New York Times |location=New York City |url=https://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/07/books/review/eichmann-before-jerusalem-by-bettina-stangneth.html |access-date=September 4, 2014}}{{cite web |date=July 1, 2014 |title=Eichmann Before Jerusalem: The Unexamined Life of a Mass Murderer |url=https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/bettina-stangneth/eichmann-before-jerusalem/ |access-date=September 4, 2014 |publisher=Kirkus Reviews}}{{cite web |date=September 2, 2014 |title=Eichmann Before Jerusalem: The Unexamined Life of a Mass Murderer |url=http://www.publishersweekly.com/978-0-307-95967-6 |access-date=September 4, 2014 |publisher=Publishers Weekly}}{{cite news |last=Schuessler |first=Jennifer |date=September 2, 2014 |title=Book Portrays Eichmann as Evil, but Not Banal |newspaper=The New York Times |location=New York City |url=https://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/03/books/book-portrays-eichmann-as-evil-but-not-banal.html |access-date=September 4, 2014}}
