El Marg ({{langx|ar|المرج}}  {{IPA|arz|elˈmæɾɡ|pron}}) is a district in the Eastern Area of Cairo,{{Cite web |title=East Area |url=http://www.cairo.gov.eg/en/Pages/Region.aspx?ReID=12 |access-date=2023-01-03 |website=www.cairo.gov.eg}} Egypt, bordering Qalyubia Governorate near Shubra El Kheima. It was separated from the El Salam district (to its south) on 1 April 1994. Its residential area is densely populated.
