Elachista adempta is a moth of the family Elachistidae. It is found in North America in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.Kaila, L. 1997. A revision of the Nearctic species of Elachista s. l. II. The argentella group (Lepidoptera, Elachistidae). Acta Zoologica Fennica 206: 1–93.

The length of the forewings is 4–6.3 mm.
