Elckerlyc is a 1975 Dutch drama film directed by Jos Stelling and starring George Bruens. It is also known as Elckerlijc and Elkerlyc. It tells the story of a criminal who falls in love with a girl in medieval times. The film is loosely based on the 15th-century morality play with the same title. Like in Stellings's previous film, Mariken van Nieumeghen, most of the actors are non-professionals.{{Cite web|url=https://www.filmfestival.nl/publiek/films/elckerlyc|title=Elckerlyc|language=Dutch|work=filmfestival.nl|publisher=Netherlands Film Festival|accessdate=2015-08-08|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304052124/https://www.filmfestival.nl/publiek/films/elckerlyc|archive-date=2016-03-04|url-status=dead}} The film was released in Dutch cinemas on 18 December 1975.{{Cite web|url=http://boxofficenl.net/movie.asp?id=18312|title=Elkerlyc|language=Dutch|work=Boxofficenl.net|accessdate=2015-08-08}}
