Elena Evgenievna Zaiatz ({{langx|ru|Елена Евгеньевна Заяц}}, also transliterated Zayats; born 16 June 1969) is a Russian female chess player who holds the FIDE titles of International Master (2005) and Woman Grandmaster (1988).{{Cite web|url=https://chesstempo.com/gamedb/player/232952|title=Elena Zaiatz - Chess Games|website=chesstempo.com|language=en|access-date=2017-11-08}} She has represented both Belarus and Russia at the international chess competitions. Elena Zaiatz represented Belarus in chess championships from 1986 to 2006{{Cite web|url=https://www.365chess.com/players/Elena_Zayac|title=Elena Zayac chess games|website=365Chess.com|access-date=2017-11-08}} before heading to Russia. Elena has represented Belarus at Chess Olympiads from 1994 to 1996.
