Personal life
Jonathan was born in a small town in Pennsylvania in 1997. He has a big family and grew up with an older brother and sister and a twin sister. He is of Polish descent.{{Cite web |title=The history of Elige |url=https://bo3.gg/articles/the-history-of-elige |access-date=25 January 2025 |website=bo3.gg}} Moreover, he has enjoyed video games since the time he was four. During that period, his brother played games quite often. So, EliGE wanted to play the same games as his older brother and become better than him. He claims that this rivalry at a young age made him as competitive as he is today.
However, gaming wasn’t the only thing he wanted to be perfect at. EliGE was also quite good at school – he was even a valedictorian at a graduation ceremony and was named a scholar of the year{{Cite web |last=Madison |date=25 February 2021 |title=Story of EliGE, Team Liquid (ex Team Elevate) |url=https://esportsbff.com/csgo/elige/ |access-date=25 January 2025 |website=eSportsBFF.com |language=en-AU}}{{Cite web |author=Staff Writer |title=Jablonowski named Scholar of the Year |url=https://www.tricountyindependent.com/story/news/education/2015/02/24/jablonowski-named-scholar-year/64839195007/ |access-date=25 January 2025 |website=Tri-County Independent |language=en-US}}
