Elmer R. Gainer (November 22, 1918 – September 29, 1970"Services set for DePaul cager Gainer". Chicago Tribune. October 1, 1970. C2.) was an American professional basketball player. Gainer played college basketball for the DePaul Blue Demons, and was selected in the 1947 BAA draft by the Baltimore Bullets.
