Emmenosperma is a small genus of mostly tropical trees in the family Rhamnaceae.{{cite web |title=Emmenosperma |url=http://www.theplantlist.org/browse/A/Rhamnaceae/Emmenosperma/ |work=The Plant List}} The name comes from the Greek "emmeno" meaning (I cleave) and "sperma", (seed).
