Encostas d'Aire DOC

Encostas d'Aire is a Portuguese wine region[http://www.infoagro.com/denominaciones/denominacion_origen.asp?id=551&idp=351&p=16&_DOC Denominaciones de Origen e Indicaciones Geográficas protegidas: DOC Encostas de Aire] located on the limestone hills extending across the northern end of the wider Lisboa wine region into the southwestern corner of the Beiras region. Despite similar names, the Encostas d'Aire DOC is quite distinct from the former Encostas da Nave IPR located in the northern half of the Beiras region,T. Stevenson "The Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia" pg 331 Dorling Kindersley 2005 {{ISBN|0-7566-1324-8}} which is now part of Távora-Varosa DOC and no longer used on wine labels, reducing the risk of confusion.
