Eosanthe is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae.[https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/742396#page/165/mode/1up Ignatz Urban. 1923. Symbolae Antillanae seu Fundamenta Florae Indiae Occidentalis 9: 162] The genus contains only one species, viz. The genus was circumscribed by Ignaz Urban in Symb. Antill. (Urban) Vol.9 (Issue 1) on page 162 in 1923.
