Eratyrus

Eratyrus is a genus of insects belonging to the assassin bug subfamily Triatominae.{{Cite journal|author=Ryckman, Raymond E.|year=1986|title=The Triatominae of South America: A check list with synonymy|journal=Bulletin of the Society for Vector Ecology|volume=11|issue=2|pages=199–208}}
This genus has a wide distribution throughout central and northern South America and Central America.
There are two species in this genus; both are associated with Trypanosoma cruzi:
