Eskdalemuir Forest

Eskdalemuir Forest is a forest north of Eskdalemuir, Dumfries and Galloway, in southern Scotland. It was created as a private enterprise by the Economic Forestry Group during the 1970s.{{cite book|author1=Mark Avery|author2=Roderick Leslie|title=Birds and Forestry|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=HvzUBAAAQBAJ&pg=PA95|date=30 October 2010|publisher=Bloomsbury Publishing|isbn=978-1-4081-3766-6|pages=53, 94-124}} Eskdalemuir Forest is adjoined by Craik Forest to the north-east and Castle O'er Forest to the south. Eskdalemuir is one of a number of small settlements lying along the White Esk valley which bisects Eskdalemuir forest.
