Eublepharis angramainyu, also known as the Iranian fat-tailed gecko or Iraqi eyelid gecko, is a nocturnal ground dwelling lizard native to Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria.{{Cite web|date=2020-03-05|title=Iranian Fat-tailed Gecko|url=https://nationalzoo.si.edu/animals/iranian-fat-tailed-gecko|access-date=2021-12-21|website=Smithsonian's National Zoo|language=en}} Its diet is insectivorous but may eat smaller vertebrates. Like most lizards it has the ability to shed its tail (autotomy).
