Eugene S. Kaufman

Biography

Kaufman was born 1922 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.{{cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=jsdWAAAAYAAJ&q=Eugene+S.+Kaufman%2BWisconsin&pg=PA48|title=Members of the Assembly|publisher=Wisconsin Blue Book|access-date=2013-10-14|year=1966}} He would graduate from Lincoln High School.{{cite web|url=http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/dictionary/index.asp?action=view&term_id=1833&term_type_id=1&term_type_text=People&letter=K|title=Kaufman, Eugene S. 1922|publisher=Wisconsin Historical Society|access-date=2013-10-14}} During World War II, Kaufman served in the United States Army. He went on to be a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and AMVETS, as well as the Society of the Holy Name and the Knights of Columbus.

Political career

Kaufman was elected to the Assembly in 1962, 1964 and 1966. Additionally, he was a member of the Manitowoc County, Wisconsin Board. He is a Democrat.
