The European Union (Accessions) Act 2006 (c 2) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which ratified and legislated for the accession of Romania and Bulgaria to the European Union. It received Royal assent on 16 February 2006.

The Act is amended by articles [http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2011/1043/article/3/made 3], 4 and 6 of the Treaty of Lisbon (Changes in Terminology) Order 2011 (S.I. 2011/1043).

Section 1 – Accession treaty

Section 2 – Freedom of movement for workers

Section 2(1) provides:
