Exercise Delawar ({{langx|fa|دلاور|lit=Courageous}}) was a joint military exercise in 1964 conducted by the United States and Iran under the auspices of the Central Treaty Organization (CENTO).{{cite press release|title=Cento Exercise "Delavar" Scheduled April 12-15|location=Ankara, Turkey|publisher=Central Treaty Organization|agency=Public Relations Division|date=17 March 1961}} It took place in southwest Iran.

Some 6,800 American military personnel from three military branches took part in this war game, including 2,300 paratroopers.{{citation|title=The United States Air Forces in Europe|magazine=Air Force Magazine|volume=47|publisher=Air Force Association|year=1964|page=91}} U.S. naval forces, as well as Marines were also deployed in the Persian Gulf and performed amphibious operations, supported by close-air-support of F-100s.

According to Čūbīn and Zabih, by this war game, Washington "partially reassured" Tehran of its continued interest in the region.{{citation|first1=Shahram|last1=Chubin|first2=Sepehr|last2=Zabih|title=The Foreign Relations of Iran: A Developing State in a Zone of Great Power Conflict|publisher=University of California Press|date=1974|isbn=9780520026834|page=2020}}
