Exilisuchus is an extinct genus of archosauromorph reptile from the Early Triassic of Russia. The type species E. tubercularis was named in 1979. Fossils are known from two Russian assemblages, the Benthosuchus - Thoosuchus assemblage and the Angusaurus assemblage.{{cite book |last1=Shishkin |first1=M.A. |last2=Ochev |first2=V.G. |last3=Lozovskii |first3=V.R. |last4=Novikov |first4=I.V. |year=2000 |chapter=Tetrapod biostratigraphy of the Triassic of Eastern Europe |title=The Age of Dinosaurs in Russia and Mongolia |editor=Benton, M.J. |editor2=Kurochkin, E.N. |editor3=Shishkin, M.A. |editor4=Unwin, D.M. |publisher=Cambridge University Press |location=Cambridge |pages=140–159 |isbn=9780521545822}} Both are Olenekian in age.{{cite book |last=Sennikov |first=A.G. |author2=Gower, D.J. |year=2000 |chapter=Early archosaurs from Russia |title=The Age of Dinosaurs in Russia and Mongolia |editor=Benton, M.J. |editor2=Shishkin, M.A. |editor3=Unwin, D.M. |publisher=Cambridge University Press |location=Cambridge |pages=140–159 |isbn=9780521545822}} Although initially believed to be a proterosuchid archosauriform, a 2016 analysis found that it also shared features with tanystropheids, and thus is currently classified as Archosauromorpha incertae sedis.{{Cite journal|last=Ezcurra|first=Martín D.|date=2016-04-28|title=The phylogenetic relationships of basal archosauromorphs, with an emphasis on the systematics of proterosuchian archosauriforms|journal=PeerJ|language=en|volume=4|pages=e1778|doi=10.7717/peerj.1778|pmid=27162705|pmc=4860341|issn=2167-8359 |doi-access=free }} Due to the small amount of preserved material, this genus is sometimes considered a nomen dubium.
