The FCS Bowl or FCS National Bowl is an independently operated annual post-season college football all-star game, played each December in Florida since 2014. The game showcases NFL draft prospects of those collegiate players who have completed their eligibility in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), although the game does feature players from Division II, Division III, and from NAIA as well. The game is played as a doubleheader with the National Bowl Game.
History
The FCS Bowl was first played in December 2014 at Riccardo Silva Stadium on the campus of Florida International University (FIU).{{cite press release |url=http://www.prunderground.com/fcs-bowl-at-fiu-expects-nfl-scouts-top-players-as-a-double-header-with-the-national-bowl-in-miami/0043883/ |title=FCS BOWL at FIU expects NFL Scouts, Top Players as a double header with the National Bowl in Miami |website=prunderground.com |date=October 6, 2014}} The game is organized by East Preps LLC, who operate the game independently.{{cite web |url=http://www.fcsbowl.com/news/inaugural-fcs-national-bowl |title=INAUGURAL FCS NATIONAL BOWL COLLEGE ALL STAR GAME SET FOR 5TH ANNUAL NATIONAL BOWL WEEKEND AT FIU |website=fcsbowl.com |date=July 6, 2014 |accessdate=June 11, 2017 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150107105839/http://www.fcsbowl.com/news/inaugural-fcs-national-bowl |archive-date=January 7, 2015 |url-status=dead }} After two years, the game moved to Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida.
