[https://www.saiferlab.ai/people/fabioroli Fabio Roli] is a Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Genova, he previously was with the University of Cagliari, Italy. He is the Founding Director of the [http://pralab.diee.unica.it Pattern Recognition and Applications laboratory] at the University of Cagliari. He is the Director of the [https://www.saiferlab.ai sAIfer Lab], a research laboratory on safety and security of artificial intelligence. He was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2012{{cite web|url=https://www.ieee.org/documents/fellows_class_2012.pdf|title=2012 Newly Elevated Fellows|publisher=IEEE|archivedate=15 February 2012|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120215201114/https://www.ieee.org/documents/fellows_class_2012.pdf|url-status=dead}} for contributions to multiple classifier systems.
