Fashionable Lectures: Composed and Delivered with Birch Discipline was a pornographic book originally published in the 18th century and republished by John Camden Hotten as volume 7 of his series The Library Illustrative of Social Progress around 1872 (falsely dated 1777).Ashbee (1877) pp.257-258{{cite book | title=A Catalogue of Books in English Later Than 1700, Volume 1 | first=Robert | last=Hoe | publisher=BiblioBazaar | year=2008 | isbn=978-0-554-42753-9 | page=92 }} Hotten claimed to have found them in the library of Henry Thomas Buckle (1821–1862) but Henry Spencer Ashbee claimed that they were in fact from his collection.Ashbee (1877) pp.240-241{{cite book | title=Sexual life in England, past and present | first=Iwan | last=Bloch | authorlink=Iwan Bloch | publisher=F.
