History

"Fatherland" was founded on 19 January 2017 in North Mitrovica by the former Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija board members of the Democratic Party, Serbian Progressive Party, and the Socialist Party of Serbia.{{Cite web|title=KM: Osnovan pokret "Otadžbina"|url=https://www.radiokim.net/vesti/saopstenja/km-osnovan-pokret-otadzbina.html|access-date=15 June 2020|website=KIM radio|language=en|archive-date=5 March 2017|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170305022741/https://www.radiokim.net/vesti/saopstenja/km-osnovan-pokret-otadzbina.html|url-status=dead}} The first president of the organisation was Aleksandar Vasić. In 2018, Slaviša Ristic was selected as the president.
