Federico Martín Aramburú ({{IPA|es|feðeˈɾiko maɾˈtin aɾambuˈɾu}}; 20 January 1980 – 19 March 2022[https://www.lequipe.fr/Rugby/Actualites/Mort-de-federico-aramburu-ex-international-argentin-tue-par-balles/1323137 Mort de Federico Aramburu, ex-international argentin, tué par balles à Paris] {{in lang|fr}}) was an Argentine rugby union player.

Biography

Aramburú was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires Province. He primarily played as a wing and centre for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro12{{Cite web |url=http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3825_6224430,00.html |title=Planet Rugby | Rugby Union Tournaments | RaboDirect PRO12 |access-date=23 June 2010 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120405172230/http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3825_6224430,00.html |archive-date=5 April 2012 |url-status=dead }} and for Argentina.

He spent much of his early career in France with Biarritz Olympique, USA Perpignan and US Dax. In joining the Glasgow squad in the summer of 2010, he joined his fellow Argentine international Bernardo Stortoni, who was the first choice full back at the club. After his international debut in April 2004 in a match against {{nrut|Chile}}, Aramburú won 22 caps, (17 starts and 5 appearances from the bench) scoring eight tries, including one against {{nrut|Georgia}} in the 2007 World Cup.
