Description

Ficus destruens is a monoecious tree which grows up to {{convert|32|m|ft|abbr=on}} tall. Its leaves are {{convert|51|–|194|mm|in|abbr=on}} long and {{convert|16|–|63|mm|in|abbr=on}} wide. Its syconia are orange or red in colour, {{convert|13|–|19|mm|in|abbr=on}} long and {{convert|11|–|16|mm|in|abbr=on}} in diameter. It begins life as a hemiepiphyte.
