|Description = Screenshot of single-player Clusterball gameplay at the Yucatan level. First-person perspective.
|Source = Original 2020 screenshot from I'm Aya Syameimaru!, of the Windows version.
|Date = 2000
|Author = Daydream Software and Strategy First
|Article = Clusterball
|Purpose = The gameplay of Clusterball, where you gather balls to put them in the floating ring (and also find powerups to counter opponents). I feel very desiring to make a screenshot of this since the article needed one badly. Usually I played this game in English, but I was doing this screenshot of a German-language version of the game. Does anyone want a screenshot of a game's foreign-language version? Some wanted it.
Well actually, the purpose of this image is to illustrate the gameplay that I described in the "gather balls" sentence. I'm repeating what I said there for this paragraph, the game tells you there's people competing for victory in a sport named Clusterball, where your flying machine, by gathering balls, forms a cluster of balls scattered around the place (in this case Yucatan) and takes them to the ring, where you'll receive some score. There's a time limit, and power-ups (or weapons, or something like that) exist to counter the opponents, but even the opponents can use power-ups that way you'll have a harder time finding balls. And oh, by the way, there's a health meter, and you can control your craft's speed. Also, there some boosts and a radar.
That Bunbunmaru advert banner was there because I was unofficial modding the game's promotional banner graphics to include Touhou-themed imagery. Speaking of Touhou, I was going under the custom player name "Kaguya Houraisan", from Imperishable Night.
|Replaceability = n.a.
|Minimality = Certainly, the article Clusterball was fated to have this screenshot. I made sure the resolution was safe enough for generous compliment with Wikipedia's rules. The gameplay is well illustrated here, so the "Gameplay" section is where is ought to be. It's just one file about a small excerpt in one article.
