I think the current numbers would be:

Device Year Transistor count

4004 1971 2300

8008 1972 3300

8080 1974 6000

8086 1978 29000

80286 1982 134000

80386 1986 275000

80486 1991 1180235

Pentium 1993 3100000

Pentium 2 1997 7500000

Pentium 3 1999 9500000

Pentium 4 2001 55000000

Prescott 2004 125000000

Pentium D 2005

Line Graph?

I was wondering if someone could make the dots of the transistors from the real processors like have a line through them? Like in this [http://www.mathgoodies.com/lessons/graphs/images/line_example1.jpg graph].
