The Finlay Institute ({{Langx|es|Instituto Finlay de Vacunas|lit=Finlay Vaccine Institute}}) is a Cuban organization that carries out medical research and mainly produces vaccines. It is named after the Cuban doctor Carlos Finlay, who was the first to hypothesize the involvement of a mosquito as a vector of yellow fever.{{cite journal |last1=Chaves-Carballo |first1=Enrique |title=Carlos Finlay and Yellow Fever: Triumph over Adversity |journal=Military Medicine |date=October 2005 |volume=170 |issue=10 |pages=881–885 |doi=10.7205/MILMED.170.10.881 |pmid=16435764|doi-access=free }}
