Music video

The video tells a story of a girl in a church, who becomes possessed as the result of receiving the Blessed Sacrament from the priest.{{Cite web|url=https://polandin.com/38375266/priest-apologizes-for-heavy-metal-video-filmed-in-church|title=Priest apologizes for heavy metal video filmed in church|last=|first=|date=4 August 2018|website=polandin.com|language=en|archive-url=|archive-date=|access-date=24 March 2019}} Powerwolf's vocalist Attila Dorn along with keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel and a few nuns perform an exorcism on the girl. The video also references the Index Librorum Prohibitorum by showing monks burning confiscated books.
Video's story takes place "somewhere in southern Europe" in 1931, although throughout the video, the viewer can see signs of it taking place in Poland (ex. a religious songbook written in Polish, or the date 966–1966, which is a memorial to the Millennium of Poland), where the video was recorded.{{Cite web|url=https://www.antyradio.pl/Muzyka/Recenzje/Powerwolf-The-Sacrament-Of-Sin-RECENZJA-24305|title=Powerwolf – "The Sacrament Of Sin" [RECENZJA]|last=|first=|date=|website=antyradio.pl|language=pl|archive-url=|archive-date=|access-date=24 March 2019}}

The video was recorded in the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Ścinawka Średnia, Poland.{{Cite web|url=https://www.fakt.pl/wydarzenia/polska/wroclaw/teledysk-metalowy-nagrany-w-kosciele-w-scinawce-sredniej-wierni-sa-oburzeni/selrq30|title=Straszny teledysk nagrany w kościele. Ksiądz się zgodził. Czy wiedział na co?|date=4 August 2018|website=www.fakt.pl|access-date=24 March 2019}} After releasing it on YouTube on 22 June 2018, Powerwolf was accused by the local curia that the video "overstepped limits with regard both to the sacredness of the church as well as to the trust shown by the parish priest in charge of that holy place".{{Cite web|url=http://www.polsatnews.pl/wiadomosc/2018-08-03/plomienie-wilki-i-powermetal-proboszcz-przeprasza-za-teledysk-nakrecony-w-jego-parafii/|title=Płomienie, wilki i powermetal. Many Polish newspapers wrote about this controversy. Most of them said that the band is satanic and anti-church.{{Cite web|url=http://www.pch24.pl/antykoscielny-teledysk-nagrany-w-polskiej-swiatyni,61991,i.html|title=Antykościelny teledysk nagrany w polskiej świątyni|website=Pch24.pl|language=pl|access-date=24 March 2019}}
