{{Politics of the Netherlands}}

The First Colijn cabinet was the cabinet of the Netherlands from 4 August 1925 until 8 March 1926. Prime Minister Colijn and his cabinet had tendered their resignations on 11 November but remained in a caretaker government until Dirk Jan De Geer formed a new government on 8 March.{{cite web|url=http://resources.huygens.knaw.nl/bwn1880-2000/lemmata/bwn3/geer|title=Geer, jhr. Dirk Jan de (1870-1960)|publisher=Resources Huygens|date=19 July 2007|access-date=5 July 2018|language=nl}} The cabinet was formed by the political parties General League of Roman Catholic Electoral Associations (AB), Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) and the Christian Historical Union (CHU) after the 1925 general election. The centre-right cabinet was a majority government in the House of Representatives. It was the first of five cabinets of Hendrikus Colijn, the Leader of the Anti-Revolutionary Party as Chairman of the Council of Ministers.{{cite book|author1=Herman Langeveld|title=Hendrikus Colijn 1869-1944 Deel II 1933-1944: Schipper naast God|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=enJgBgAAQBAJ&q=Hendrikus+Colijn+1869-1944|year=1998|publisher=Balans|isbn=9789460034480|page=6}}{{cite web|url=https://historiek.net/hendrikus-colijn-premier-crisisjaren/69176/|title=Hendrikus Colijn (1869-1944) – Premier tijdens de crisisjaren 1930|publisher=Historiek|date=23 May 2017|access-date=10 July 2018|language=nl}}{{cite web|url=http://resources.huygens.knaw.nl/bwn1880-2000/lemmata/bwn2/colijn|title=Colijn, Hendrikus (1869-1944)|publisher=Resources Huygens|date=10 July 2006|access-date=10 July 2018|language=nl}}{{cite web|url=https://www.historischnieuwsblad.nl/nl/artikel/41761/hendrikus-colijn.html|title=Hendrikus Colijn|publisher=Historisch Nieuwsblad|date=10 November 2017|access-date=10 July 2018|language=nl}}{{cite web|url=https://www.dehsvl.nl/formeren-kun-je-leren/|title=Formeren kun je leren|publisher=Historische Studievereniging Leiden|date=22 March 2017|access-date=7 July 2018|language=nl}}{{Dead link|date=March 2022 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}
