About the video, Bhose explained, "You hear a sad song and you expect a sad video. There's catharsis in that. But to go in the other direction completely felt more in line with the Lewis that walked onstage at Glastonbury in full Noel Gallagher getup".{{cite web|url=https://www.nme.com/news/music/lewis-capaldi-recreates-whams-club-tropicana-video-for-new-single-forget-me-3308499|title=Lewis Capaldi recreates Wham!'s 'Club Tropicana' video for new single 'Forget Me'|last=Qureshi|first=Arusa|website=NME|date=12 September 2022|access-date=16 September 2022}}
