Fran Molloy is an Australian journalist and author, journalism academic and founder of the Freeline forum for independent journalists in Australia.{{cite web|title=Freeline Forum for Independent Journalists | url=http://freeline.net.au/about-2/ |accessdate=2010-08-30}} She is also an elected member of the Federal Council of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance.{{cite web|title=MEAA Federal Council | url=https://www.meaa.org/about-us/federal-council/ }} Her work has appeared in such newspapers as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Sun-Herald as well as a range of magazines including Fast Thinking, The Walkley Magazine published by the Walkley Awards, G Magazine, Practical Parenting published by Pacific Magazines.
