Frank I. Marcus (March 23, 1928 – December 21, 2022) was an American cardiologist and Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center,{{cite web|title=Frank I. Marcus, MD|url=http://heart.arizona.edu/faculty/faculty_224|publisher=University of Arizona College of Medicine|access-date=15 November 2013}} the author of more than 290 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and of 90 book chapters. He was considered a world expert on arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC){{cite web|title=Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy|url=http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/arrhythmogenic-right-ventricular-cardiomyopathy|publisher=National Institutes of Health|access-date=15 November 2013}} and was a member of the Editorial/Scientific Board of 14 Cardiovascular Journals as well as a reviewer for 26 other medical publications.
Biography
Marcus graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University, obtained a master's degree in Physiology from Tufts University, and received his M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine, graduating cum laude in 1953.
