In 1933, he directed S.A.-Mann Brand, one of the first propaganda films made after the instauration of the Nazi regime in Germany. While expounding the purported virtues of joining the ranks of the Nazi Party, the film is notable for the absence of any anti-Semitic themes.{{Cite book |last=Weinstein |first=Valerie |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=jJmLDwAAQBAJ&dq=Franz+Seitz+Sr.&pg=PA90 |title=Antisemitism in Film Comedy in Nazi Germany |publisher=Indiana University Press |year=2019 |isbn=978-0-253-04073-2 |location=Bloomington, Indiana |pages=90 |language=en}}{{Cite news |last=H.T.S. |date=28 May 1934 |title=The Screen: A Nazi Film |language=en-US |work=The New York Times |url=https://www.nytimes.com/1934/05/28/archives/the-screen-a-nazi-film.html |access-date=2022-06-30 |issn=0362-4331}}
