Freedom (application)

Freedom (often referred to as the Freedom app) is a computer program designed to keep a computer or smartphone user away from the Internet for up to eight hours at a time. It is described as a way to "free you from distractions, allowing you time to write, analyze, code, or create."{{cite web

Since its initial release, Freedom has expanded its features and platform availability:

Recent Updates: As of December 2024, the iOS version (6.36) addressed issues with the End Session timer related to time zone changes and included several bug fixes to enhance app performance.
