George Christopher Rambukpotha (8 December 1884 – 27 October 1943) was a colonial-era Ceylonese lawyer and politician.{{cite web|url=https://www.parliament.lk/en/members-of-parliament/directory-of-past-members/viewMember/2592|title=Hon. George Christopher Rampukpotha was born on 8 December 1884, the eldest son of Peter Benjamin Punchi Bandara Rambukpotha, the Rate Mahatmaya of Wellawaya, and Charlotte Elizabeth Taldene née Kumarihamy.{{cite book|title=Four Kandyan Families: From the Maha Disawani of Matale, Uva, and Dumbara Pasrata : a Genealogical Study Within the Historical Background and the Geographical Spread of the Kandyan Kingdom (1600-1815) 1600-2000|author=Madugalle, Sunil J.|publisher=Vijitha Yapa Publications|date=2005|isbn=9789551266004}} He was educated at St. Benedict's College, Colombo.{{cite news|url=http://www.thesundayleader.lk/2014/10/12/the-story-of-st-benedicts-college-kotahena-religio-mores-cultura/|title=The Story Of St Benedicts' College, Kotahena – Religion, Mores, Cultural|newspaper=The Sunday Leader|date=12 October 2014|accessdate=2 April 2019}} He was appointed as a Proctor at the Supreme Court ofCeylon.

In 1910 Rambukpotha married Annabelle Elizabeth Taldene née Kumarihamy (1891–1923) at the Town Hall in Kandy. They had five children.

Rambukpotha died, at the age of 59, on 27 October 1943.
