GIMAP5
{{Short description|Type of enzyme}}
{{Infobox_gene}}
GTPase IMAP family member 5 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GIMAP5 gene.{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: GIMAP5 GTPase, IMAP family member 5| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=55340}}
This gene encodes a protein belonging to the GTP-binding superfamily and to the immuno-associated nucleotide (IAN) subfamily of nucleotide-binding proteins. In humans, the IAN subfamily genes are located in a cluster at 7q36.1.{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: GIMAP5 GTPase, IMAP family member 5| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=55340}}
