Gaginsky District ({{langx|ru|Га́гинский райо́н}}) is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.Order #3-od Municipally, it is incorporated as Gaginsky Municipal District.Resolution #670 It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is {{convert|1064.2|km2|sp=us}}. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Gagino. Population: 12,444 (2010 Census);{{ru-pop-ref|2010Census}} {{ru-census|p2002=15,079|p1989=17,473}} The population of Gagino accounts for 31.3% of the district's total population.
