Jejelava, a skillful winger, was one of the leaders of Dinamo Tbilisi alongside Boris Paichadze during 11 years spell with the club.{{cite web|publisher=UEFA|url=https://www.uefa.com/news-media/news/025a-0eaa821f1e43-00a0e5954866-1000--jejelava-is-living-history/|title=Jejelava is living history|date=17 January 2005}}
