Gamblea is a genus of plants of the family Araliaceae, comprising four species.{{cite web |title=Gamblea C.B.Clarke {{!}} Plants of the World Online {{!}} Kew Science |url=https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:3014-1 |website=Plants of the World Online |access-date=2 November 2021 |language=en}} It originally comprised a single species, Gamblea ciliata, which is found in India.

The genus's native range stretches from the Himalaya to Japan and Sumatera. It is found in Assam (part of India), China, East Himalaya, Japan, Laos, Malaya, Myanmar, Nepal, Sumatera, Tibet and Vietnam.

The genus name of Gamblea is in honour of James Sykes Gamble (1847–1925), an English botanist who specialized in the flora of the Indian sub-continent.{{cite book | last=Quattrocchi | first=Umberto | title=CRC World Dictionary of Plant Names, Volume II, D–L | publisher=CRC Press | location=Boca Raton, Florida | year=2000 | isbn=978-0-8493-2676-9}} and it was first described and published in J.D.Hooker, Fl.
