Garrett List

List was born in Phoenix, Arizona.{{Cite Grove |last=La Barbara |first=John |date=2001 |title=List, Garrett |doi=10.1093/gmo/9781561592630.article.46144 }} He studied at California State University, Long Beach, and the Juilliard School. He was a member of Italian band Musica Elettronica Viva from 1971. In 1980, he began teaching at the Royal Conservatory of Liège. List died in Liège, Belgium, aged 76.
