Gaurav Solanki (born 7 July, 1986) is an Indian fiction writer, poet, screenwriter and lyricist.{{Cite web|url=https://jaipurliteraturefestival.org/speaker/gaurav-solanki|title=Gaurav Solanki {{!}} Jaipur Literature Festival|website=Jaipur Literature Festival|date=17 September 2013}} He has written songs for Ugly, Daas Dev and Veere Di Wedding. Early life and education

Career
His first break in films was Anurag Kashyap's Ugly (2014) for which he wrote lyrics. Kashyap also bought the rights to his story "Hisar mein Hahakar".{{Cite web|url=https://archive.mid-day.com/entertainment/2013/aug/290813-for-the-first-time-a-blog-will-be-adapted-into-a-full-fledged-film.htm|title=For the first time a blog will be adapted into a full-fledged film}} Solanki wrote songs for Daas Dev (2018) and Veere Di Wedding (2018). Books
