George N. Hembree (1893 – May 17, 1945) was an American football, basketball and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Eastern Kentucky University from 1920 to 1929{{cite web|url=https://ekusports.com/documents/2019/8/6/2019_EKU_Football_Record_Book.pdf|title=2019 EKU Football Records Book|publisher=Eastern Kentucky Colonels|access-date=October 5, 2019}} He also served as EKU's head men's basketball coach{{cite web|url=https://ekusports.com/sports/2009/11/13/MBBALL_1113091114.aspx?id=78|title=Men's Basketball Coaching Records|publisher=Eastern Kentucky Colonels|access-date=October 5, 2019}} and baseball coach, in addition to being a faculty member.{{cite web|url=https://va.eku.edu/heroes/wall/george-n-hembree|title=George N.
