In 1922, Stuttler joined the ranks of Olympique.{{cite web |url=https://www.national-football-teams.com/player/51706/Georges_Stuttler.html |title=Georges Stuttler (Player) |website=www.national-football-teams.com |access-date=16 May 2025}}{{cite web |url=https://www.fff.fr/equipe-nationale/joueur/7926-stuttler-georges/fiche.html |title=Georges Stuttler |language=fr |website=www.fff.fr |access-date=16 May 2025}} On 13 May 1923, he started in the final of the 1923 Coupe de Paris, assisting the opening goal of the match to help his side to a 2–0 victory over his future club Red Star.{{cite web |url=https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k605383d/f4.item.r=stuttler.zoom |title=Le dimanche sportif - La Coupe de Paris de football |trans-title=Sporting Sunday - The Paris Football Cup |language=fr |website=gallica.bnf.fr |publisher=Le Petit Parisien |page=4 |date=14 May 1923 |access-date=16 May 2025 }}

In 1925, Stuttler signed for Red Star, with whom he played for three years, until 1928, when he joined {{ill|Stade raphaëlois|fr}}, where he retired in 1930, aged 33. He helped the latter club reach the semifinals of the 1928–29 Coupe de France, which ended in a 1–0 loss to Montpellier; the following day, the journalists of the French newspaper Le Miroir des sports described him as "the most perfect simulator of contemporary French footballers", referring to his tedency to dive and feign injury, which caught the referee Lucien Leclercq off-guard.{{cite web |url=https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k9797992h/f8.item.r=stuttler.zoom |title=Trois clubs du sud-est: Sète, Montpellier et Saint-raphaël, sont demi-finalistes de la Coupe de France |trans-title=Three clubs from the south-east: Sète, Montpellier, and Saint-Raphaël, are semi-finalists of the Coupe de France |language=fr |website=gallica.bnf.fr |publisher=Le Miroir des sports |page=8 |date=19 March 1929 |access-date=16 May 2025 }}

International career

In March 1919, Stuttler was selected to represent a USFSA XI in a friendly against a Alsace selection,{{cite web |url=https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bd6t53428679/f4.item.r=stuttler.zoom |title=Match Alsace-Union |language=fr |website=gallica.bnf.fr |publisher=Tous les sports |page=4 |date=21 March 1919 |access-date=16 May 2025 }} and a few months later, in November, he was selected to play for the Paris football team in a friendly against a London XI, helping his side to a 4–3 win; despite scoring "a very strong shot from 18 meters", the press stated he "lacked big-match experience".{{cite web |url=https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k46315871/f1.item.r=stuttler.zoom |title=Paris bat Londres: 4 buts à 3 |trans-title=Paris beats London: 4 goals to 3 |language=fr |website=gallica.bnf.fr |publisher=L'Auto |page=1 |date=2 November 1919 |access-date=16 May 2025 }}

On 20 June 1926, the 29-year-old earned his first (and only) international cap for France in a friendly against Belgium at {{ill|Stade Fallon|fr}}, coming off the bench in the 16th minute to replace the injured captain Paul Nicolas in an eventual 2–2 draw.{{cite web |url=https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k46841001/f1.image.r=stuttler.zoom |title=La France et la Belgique font match nul, 2 buts à 2 |trans-title=France and Belgium draw 2-2 |language=fr |website=gallica.bnf.fr |publisher=L'Auto |page=1 |date=21 June 1926 |access-date=16 May 2025 }}
