Gerald Steichen
Gerald Steichen (born 1963 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma)[http://www.acorn-online.com/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=9154:new-conductors-debut Unknown Title]{{deadlink|date=November 2023 | fix-attempted=yes}} is an American music conductor, pianist and stage actor.
Steichen holds music degrees from Oklahoma City University and from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.{{cn|date=November 2023}} He has conducted symphony orchestras, opera, acted in Broadway plays,{{Cite web |url=http://www.hkpo.com/eng/concerts_and_ticket/artists/artistsdetail.jsp?id=911 |title=Gerald Steichen |access-date=2009-02-26 |archive-date=2008-12-25 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081225145329/http://www.hkpo.com/eng/concerts_and_ticket/artists/artistsdetail.jsp?id=911 |url-status=dead }} and conducted opera touring companies (including the U.S. tour of The Phantom of the Opera). He conducted the final public Broadway performance of Cats. He has presented piano concertos{{cn|date=November 2023}} and served as an on-stage pianist for New York City Opera presentations.
