Plot

Following up to events from the earlier film, Bahubuthayo, Lanti and Bunty are working as journalists. Tikiri, an evil spirit, comes looking for Lanti and Bunty. The three end up living together while Tikiri does their work.{{cite web | url=http://www.sundaytimes.lk/141116/magazine/gindari-udayakantha-return-with-bahubuthayo-127459.html | title=Gindari; Udayakantha return with Bahubuthayo | publisher=the Sunday Times | date=November 16, 2014 | access-date=28 January 2016}}

After the publication of a misleading news item relating to a minister, the minister comes to the house where Bunty and Lanti live and beats them. The minister thinks Tikiri is beautiful, and takes her by force to work in his ministry office. He changes Tikiri's name as Tikri and falls with her. Due to parental pressure, Bunty soon marries a girl named Malkanthi. He discovers he is not well matched with his wife and they frequently quarrel until Malkanthi leaves him.{{Cite web|url=http://magneticdigital.net/beta/ct/spandana-kandy|title=Bahubuthayo 2- Gindari {{!}} Ceylon Theatres|website=magneticdigital.net|language=en-US|access-date=2017-03-27}}{{Cite web|url=http://www.sundaytimes.lk/150419/magazine/gindari-a-comedy-around-a-she-devil-144992.html|title=Gindari A comedy around a she-devil {{!}} The Sunday Times Sri Lanka|website=www.sundaytimes.lk|access-date=2017-03-27}}
