Three Gipsy-class destroyers served with the Royal Navy;{{cite web|url=http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/gypsy_class.htm|title=Gypsy class at BattleshipsCruisers.co.uk|accessdate=2009-04-03}} Osprey, Fairy and Gipsy were three funnelled {{convert|30|kn|km/h|sing=on}} C-class destroyers built by Fairfield with Thorneycroft boilers. Leven, Falcon and Ostrich are sometime referred to as the Falcon class but are here listed under the Gipsy class. These {{convert|209|ft|m|sing=on}} long ships were armed with the standard 12-pounder gun and two torpedo tubes and all served in the First World War in home waters.
