Giuliano Bonfante

Giuliano Bonfante (6 August 1904, Milan – 9 September 2005, Rome){{cite web |url=http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/personal/galeria/bonfante.htm |title = TITUS-Galeria: Bonfante}} was an Italian linguist and expert on the language of the Etruscans and other Italic peoples. Bonfante was born in Milan, the son of jurist {{ill|Pietro Bonfante|it}}.{{Cite web |title=Bonfante, Pietro - Enciclopedia |url=https://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/pietro-bonfante/ |access-date=2025-05-23 |website=Treccani |language=it}} He collaborated with his daughter, Larissa Bonfante, in his study of the Etruscan language. He became a member of the Accademia dei Lincei in 1958.
